Semi Precious Weapons Rocks Fred Segal

Semi Precious Weapons gets "Sticky With Champagne" at Fred Segal Santa Monica.

Glam rock and the Westside are not necessarily synonymous. But on Tuesday night, for the first time ever, Fred Segal Santa Monica was transformed into a concert venue. Semi Precious Weapons rocked the house with an outdoor performance that followed a runway show by Lyric Culture. The Los Angeles-based brand launched its "Nude Collection" inspired by the on-stage antics of the hotter-than-hot band, which has opened for Lady Gaga on her "Monster Ball" tour this year.

Sophie Monk, Sasha Grey and Bai Ling stopped by to support Lyric Culture's Hanna Rochelle Schmieder, who launched the new collection. Guests watched the show and were able to shop from the line, which is carried at the Bettina Duncan boutique at Fred Segal.

It was a night most won't forget, with the raucous on-stage antics of the band and models who navigated a slippery runway. One model took an unfortunate spill but recovered gracefully before a white carpet was brought out to cover the stage. The show resumed and models successfully walked the runway in Lyric Culture's rock 'n' roll–inspired tees and leggings to showcase the latest collection.

Staying true to the nude theme, Semi Precious Weapons' lead singer, Justin Tranter, stole the show with a high-energy performance in the appropriate palette. He wore a nude leather biker jacket with gold grommets, black fishnets, high heel boots and a short T-shirt dress that exposed more than just a little of his back side. Topless dancers (oh my!) sported limited-edition items from the "Nude Collection," including "Sticky With Champagne" emblazoned tops and leggings.

Fans of the band who won a Twitter contest attended the event along with music and fashion insiders. You couldn't help but enjoy Tranter's contagious on-stage performance. Most of the crowd was on their feet cheering throughout the wild show, which included Tranter spraying champagne into the audience and stripping on stage to change into the collection. The event prequeled two performances by the band this week at the Staples Center.

Tranter changes on stage and the audience realizes he is wearing nude leggings (Whew! Collective sigh of relief).
