Chrome: SF to NYC in 30 Seconds

Chrome, the San Francisco-based makers of rad messenger bags, duds and shoes, is opening its first NYC flagship on August 28. If you're in town, make sure to drop by between 12 to 8pm for the grand opening 238 Mulberry St. between Prince and Spring!!!

For those who can't make it, or who like to know what they're getting into before they show up, HERE'S a quick video of the NYC shop coming together, like magic, in 30 seconds.

A few weeks ago while we were up in San Francisco visiting our friends over at Villains and Body we stopped into Chrome headquarters to see what was new.

This is our good friend Shawn Hewson who is the Visual Merchandising B.A. for Chrome. When we walked into their store we found him hunched over a new window display he was working on to celebrate the Mark Gonzales/Krooked Skateboards collaboration bag they were about to release.

The Chrome X Krooked "Citizen" bag, which can be found at chromebags.com, Chrome retailers and DLX SF if you are in the neighborhood, features Gonzales' artwork.

This is a rack of the Metro bag series, which comes in a ton of colors and is super functional for day to day use.

It’s pretty apparent that the kids working over at CHROME really love the brand and the culture that they are building and participating in.
