New York–based retail chain New York & Co. named Michele Parsons executive vice president of merchandising beginning in January 2011. Parsons was previously vice president of merchandising and retail North America for Coach and has held executive positions at Liz Claiborne, Tommy Hilfiger, J. Crew Group, Victoria’s Secret and Ann Taylor.
