The Sun Will Come Out Tomorrow in the Fashion District

Could this be the end of the deluge?

Late Wednesday afternoon, there was a rare sight in Los Angeles' Fashion District. The sun came out long enough to form a rainbow over the area.

Vendors in Santee Alley have been having a particularly hard time with the rain. The alley was no longer an alley. It was a river. And merchants were spending more time mopping up store floors and tipping rain water off flimsy plastic awnings than attending to customers.

While the usual shopping crowd was no where to be seen, there were a few die-hard consumers out there perusing purses and pumps.

On Thursday, it should be a different scene. But here's what it looked like today.
