Los Angeles Designers Shine at New York Fashion Week
California designers unveiled their Fall/Winter 2010 collections at New York Fashion Week, held Feb. 10–18.
The shows took place at venues such as Milk Studios, Crosby Street Hotel and Capsule Studio.
Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week, organized by IMG Fashion, was holding its last season in the tents at the eight-acre Bryant Park in front of the New York Public Library before moving next season to Lincoln Center.
Some of the Los Angeles designers and labels on the catwalk included Tadashi Shoji, BCBG Max Azria, Herveacute; Leacute;ger, Boy by Band of Outsiders, Koi Suwannagate, Odyn Vovk, Native Son, Rodarte, Juan Carlos Obando, Monique Lhuillier and Rebecca Minkoff.—Deborah Belgum
