Stylesight Hosts N.Y. Trend Event

Trend forecaster Stylesight will kick off the lineup of textile shows in New York with a July 13 presentation titled “Stylesight LIVE: Lifestyle, Inspiration, Vision, Expertise.”

Covering design direction and inspiration for Fall/Winter 2011 and Spring/Summer 2012, the seminar will be held at The Times Center, with seminars running from 1 to 5 p.m., followed by a cocktail reception from 5 to 6 p.m.

Speakers include Sharon Graubard, Stylesight’s senior vice president of trend analysis, and Isham Sardouk, the forecaster’s senior vice president of trend forecasting.

Stylesight recently launched a Turkish-language version of its forecasting services, thanks to a partnership with Cem-Sel Tekstil, a Turkish textile and retail buying and exporting company.

“As our channel partner in Turkey, Cem-Sel Tekstil will help Stylesight break new ground in providing fashion information, technology and expertise for the Turkish manufacturer and retailer,” said Frank Bober, founder and chief executive officer of Stylesight. “The best part is that the entire Stylesight offering will be available in the Turkish language. This is just the beginning of the services we will provide together.”

Stylesight’s online forecasting services are available in English, Chinese and Japanese.

The forecaster also recently launched a kids’ trend blog called Small Talk. Curated by Khalym Schell, Stylesight’s children’s editor, the blog features street photos from around the world, profiles of stylish kids with grown-up style, new toys, gadgets, and other children’s products and brands to watch.
