Dancing (and Dinner) With the Stars

Mikhail Baryshnikov, Romeo Gigli and Marisa Tomei may seem like an unlikely pairing. But it will be a night to remember in Los Angeles as Baryshnikov performs for an exclusive one-night event to benefit The Cunningham Dance Co. and the Roy and Edna Disney/Cal Arts Theater (REDCAT).
Romeo Gigli designed the costumes for the show, and fashion icon Tomei will host the event along with Sutton and Christian Stracke. It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see Baryshnikov (Carrie’s former “Sex and the City” love interest) on stage as he performs Occasion Piece2 with the legendary Merce Cunningham Dance Co. Cunningham choreographed the piece as a duet with Baryshnikov 10 years prior to his death in 2009. The evening includes cocktails, the performance and a special screening of “With Merce” by Charles Atlas.
