Talking Supply Chain at Stanford

Supply-chain best practices—including social and environmental responsibility—will be on the agenda at an April 29 conference hosted by the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. Presented by the Global Supply Chain Management Forum, the Center for Social Innovation at the Stanford Graduate School of Business and AMR Research, the conference, titled “Collaboration for the Greater Good: Social and Environmental Responsibility in the Global Supply Chain,” will feature speakers from Levi Strauss & Co., Nike Inc., Natura Cosmetics Brazil and McDonald’s India. Among the apparel industry–related seminars on the agenda is “Traceability, Cotton and Collaboration in the Apparel Industry: The Drive for More Sustainable Agriculture.”
