Friedman Joins Claire’s Stores
Chicago-based accessories retailer Claire’s Stores Inc. named Jay Friedman president of the North American division of the company, overseeing approximately 2,000 Claire’s and Icing stores in the United States, Canada, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands. Friedman was previously president and chief executive officer of Jones Retail Corp., Nine West Group, a division of The Jones Group Inc.—Alison A. Nieder
