RadiciSpandex Consolidates Space in N.C.

RadiciSpandex Corp. consolidated its distribution center, corporate office and finishing operations in Gastonia, N.C., with plans to sell one of two buildings adjacent to its headquarters.

The sale will provide funding for research and development, said Marty Moran, chief executive officer of RadiciSpandex. “Selling one of the buildings in Gastonia will generate cash to invest into R&D and will enhance efficiency improvements,” he said. In addition, the current warehouse space is underutilized since we have focused on improving our planning and logistics while reducing inventory levels to better serve our customers.”
