CMC's New Select Show to Bow at L.A. Market
The California Market Center’s new contemporary trade show, Select, bows at the Jan. 17–20 run of Los Angeles Fashion Market in the building’s Fashion Theater.
Among the lines showing are Ai for Ai, Sam Edelman footwear, Alexia Admor, Boutique 9, Gorjana jewelry, Joan and David footwear, Magaschoni Apparel, Minnie Rose knitwear, Royal Plush activewear, Voom by Joy Han, Inge Christopher evening bags and Monserat De Lucca Italian leather handbags.
Visitors to Select are able to sample organic iced tea at the Honest Tea Tasting Bar.
Other shows planned for the upcoming market at the CMC include Focus, covering apparel and accessories, and Transit, covering footwear. Both are set for Jan. 18–20 in the 13th-floor Penthouse Pavilion. The L.A. Kids’ Market is set for Jan. 17–20 on the CMC’s sixth floor.
The CMC will also host two runway shows, the CMC’s Contemporary Collections show on Jan. 18 at 5 p.m. and Focus F2 on Jan. 19 at 5 p.m. Both shows will be held in the CMC’s 13th-floor Penthouse Pavilion.
