Levi's' John Anderson Retiring

San Francisco–based Levi Strauss & Co. announced John Anderson, the company’s president and chief executive officer, will retire after 32 years with Levi’s. He will also resign from Levi’s board of directors. Charles (Chip) V. Bergh was named president and chief executive officer beginning Sept. 1. Berg will also join the board of directors. He has been with personal-care and household-goods giant Procter & Gamble Co. for 28 years, most recently serving as group president, global male grooming.
