Sole Society and StyleSaint Join Forces

What outfit is complete without a great pair of shoes and vice versa?

That’s what the people behind Sole Society and StyleSaint thought. The two companies put together their heads - and their feet - to develop a capsule collection of clothing designed by StyleSaint that will be available on Sole Society’s e-commerce site at www.solesociety.com.

This is Sole Society’s first-ever apparel offering and consists of 11 pieces in various color ways. “Our consumer seeks a reliable source for on-trend styles at a great value. So we are thrilled to partner with StyleSaint to offer our first apparel assortment that is expertly curated with head-to-toe looks, all available to purchase on Sole Society,” said Andy Solomon, the chief executive of Sole Society, which sells its shoes, handbags and accessories on its website, at Nordstrom stores and on QVC, an online and TV shopping experience.

The capsule collection includes a $38 V-neck T-shirt made from Modal, which is made from sustainably farmed beechwood trees and hand sewn in Los Angeles. There is a $98 angled skirt made with a fabric blend of cotton/recycled polyester/spandex and Tencel, which is made from sustainably farmed eucalyptus trees. The line also includes an $88 silk tank hand made in Los Angeles from pure silk double georgette and a $98 ruched skirt made from a Modal/spandex blend.

StyleSaint was launched in Los Angeles in 2013 by designer Allison Beal. Her collection of silk and lace essentials is manufactured ethically and sustainable in Los Angeles with high-quality fabrics. Clothing is sold directly to consumers via the company’s website at www.stylesaint.com.

Sole Society was part of HauteLook, a flash-sale fashion site in Los Angeles that was acquired by Nordstrom in 2011. Andy Solomon, who had been the senior vice president and general manager of HauteLook, spearheaded Sole Society’s spinoff after the purchase.
