Campbell & Kramer Unveil Hadley Greene Collaboration
Los Angeles–based sustainable luxury brand Campbell & Kramer recently launched a capsule collection with Hadley Greene using dead-stock silk chiffon. The collection includes three pieces—the Hadley Poncho, Hadley Scarf and Hadley Pant—in four colors: Lagoon, Kiwi, Toasted Coconut and Limoncello.
“Maintaining sustainable commitments is a core pillar of our brand,” said Presley Campbell and Alden Kramer, Campbell & Kramer’s founders. “By choosing dead-stock silk over newly manufactured silk we help prevent perfectly usable fabric from going to waste while avoiding the thousands of liters of water required to produce new silk.”
Campbell & Kramer and Greene hosted a launch party at Companion in Venice, Calif., where guests dined on Klaus pizza, radiatore all’arrabbiata and cake by Buttercream Boy while exploring the new collection. The event took place just ahead of the official start of summer as the collaborators celebrated the collection, which was inspired by the warmer season in Southern California.
“Though our tastes often align, the collaboration was equally defined by contrast,” said Campbell and Kramer. “Hadley’s perspective challenged ours in ways that sharpened the collection, pushing silhouettes, styling and color into places neither of us would have arrived at independently.”
The collection is available at CampbellandKramer.com and priced at $100–$230.
