Men’s Edit Builds Momentum
Men’s Edit at WWIN, held at The Expo at World Market Center Aug. 9–12, featured men’s brands from head to toe.
With headquarters in Los Angeles, Mattarazi Uomo featured an Italian Loro Piana silk and wool blazer with two-button notch lapel and four-button sleeves.
Novara Fashions, headquartered in the City of Industry, Calif., presented tuxedoes for every occasion.
Lago di Como, made in Italy with headquarters in Sherman Oaks, Calif., displayed a luxurious collection of baby Mongolian cashmere scarves and pocket squares.
Los Angeles–based Prestige Original combined an argyle story with checkers in a sweater to create wearable art.
“I think you’re going to see an uptick in how men dress going forward,” said Gary Dante, previous owner of the SuitMart retail store in Houston. “The women are dictating that ‘if you’re going to take me out, I want you to look presentable,’ and I think that’s going to influence what happens in the market.”
“Men’s Edit continues to build momentum, reinforcing Las Vegas as an essential destination for the menswear industry and creating meaningful new opportunities for brands and buyers to connect, discover and do business,” said Bryanna Timney, senior event director for Clarion Events.
