Whether it is on the back of racer Danica Patrick or a kid shopping at Tilly’s, the Alpinestars clothing label strives to mix fashion and new technical fabrics for stylish people who love activewear or auto and motorcycle racing.

On May 17 Alpinestars upped the ante in its search for a mix of technical fabrics and beauty. The Torrance, Calif., office of the Italian race/active-sports company officially debuted Apex Initiative, a capsule collection series that will spotlight Alpinestars' collaboration with various designers with a streetwear edge.

The new venture will feature offer a series of capsule collections of shirts, shoes and whatever that will mix Alpinestars’ precision and high-fashion streetwear looks. Apex’s first collab partner was Fatlace, a San Francisco–based design group. Apex also will issue one-of-a-kind fashions ranging from gloves to jackets with its Parc Ferme collection. To boost Apex’s cachet, it will only be available at the collection’s website and its collaborators' boutiques.
