Cheyann Benedict On Coastal Road
For her new collaboration, Cheyann Benedict found inspiration in Florida. Specifically, inspiration was found in the art town of Santa Rosa Beach on Florida’s Gulf Coast. It’s the headquarters of Coastal Road, an accessories label which specializes in a unique digital printing method on leather bags. At an intimate Oct. 18 gathering at the Cheyann Benedict boutique, Benedict and Coastal Roads’ Christie Casillo unveiled the collaboration where Benedict’s lava design was printed on an a Coastal Road clutch. The lava print dress and the clutch can be purchased at www.coastalroad.net and at the Cheyann Benedict boutique. Voila.
Ministry of Supply Pops in L.A.
The Ministry of Supply brand recently moved into the Los Angeles pop-up space curated by the Liberty Fashion & Lifestyle Fairs trade show. The brand aims to mix elements of activewear and officewear into the emerging men’s brand. The pop-up is scheduled to run until Oct. 26
Wildfox’s Wild Store Opening!

#CheckYourSelfie/Keep A Breast
Keep-A-Breast has partnered with various action sports fashion labels to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research. On Oct. 16, it held a bowling event in Santa Monica for its #CheckYourSelfie initiative. It asks women to post a clothed selfie picture, placing three fingers to their breast to symbolize a monthly commitment to check for breast cancer.
Nick Waterhouse…Tanner…At The Foundation
Nick Waterhouse is a pretty groovy guy. Plays a Van Morrison-esque, rockin' blue-eyed soul, got that clean-cut Buddy Holly/Marshall Crenshaw rockabilly look. GQ did a blog about him this summer. True to the fashion angle, he played The Foundation showroom at the Cooper Design Space in downtown L.A on Oct. 16. It was a celebration for a Tanner Goods/Danner Goods footwear collab.

Sue Wong Kicks off Style Fashion Week
Style Fashion Week kicked off its Spring 2015 runway shows on Oct. 15 with an epic 76-look production by Sue Wong. Wong, a veteran Los Angeles, couture and eveningwear designer, reached to the world of fantasy for the collection’s theme: Fairies & Sirens. According to the show’s program, the theme represents something of the yin and yang in every woman.
