Trovata and Staying Alive Foundation Launch Charity Tee

What better way to celebrate a T-shirt that reads “Lovers Love Life” than an uplifting party with limitless cocktails and head-bobbing tunes?

That’s how Trovata toasted the launch of its “Lovers Love Life” T-shirt, made for the Staying Alive Foundation (a multimedia HIV and AIDS-prevention campaign that is partnered with MTV), at the Social Hollywood club on Nov. 20.

John Whitledge—founder, chief executive officer and creative director of Trovata—co-hosted the shindig with Chicago-based musician Kid Sister. The shirt will be sold at Urban Outfitters starting Dec. 1, with 100 percent of proceeds going toward the Staying Alive Foundation.

“We came up with the T-shirt saying ’Lovers Love Life.’ It’s a universal saying, and we hope to sell it beyond Urban Outfitters and internationally afterwards,” Whitledge said.
