Sofia Vergara x Kardashians x Mad Men

Sofia Vergara: "You don't need lipstick when you're wearing a watch like this."

Beverly Center’s goal is to schedule a high profile fashion event once a month, according to Jeff Brown, the general manager of the prominent Los Angeles retail center.

And if the trio of events held on Dec. 8 are any indication of fashion fun to come, Beverly Center might feel like a moveable feast or a place where every night is Fashion’s Night Out.

The evening started at Beverly Center's Bebe boutique, where reality show babes and branding phenoms Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian held a meet-and-greet with fans to celebrate the Kardashian by bebe Holiday and Resort Collections. The line of fans outside the store was big, half a city block long perhaps.

One floor up, Sofia Vergara, star of the Modern Family TV show and all around gorgeous creature, was on hand to debut Beverly Center’s new boutique for Omega brand of luxury watches.

A little later, Mad Men costume designer Janie Bryant signed copies of her celebrated style advice book The Fashion File at Beverly Center’s VIP Lounge, which is adjacent to the retail center’s Godiva Chocolate boutique.

When asked if she had style advice for always casual Southern Californians, Bryant said her book’s mission was to persuade Southlanders to drop their casual sartorial vibe. “I’m trying to change people,” she said. We’re yours for the revolution Janie.
