What’s a store opening without a party? Add Los Angeles Fashion Week runway shows and celebrity, and soiree becomes a bona fide glittering affair.
That was the case when Swedish bohemian chic label Odd Molly held its debut party for its new Los Angeles boutique on March 19.
Super model and Odd Molly cover girl Helena Christensen hosted the party, and the guest list reported appearances by beautiful people Heidi Klum, Lydia Hearst-Shaw, Kelly Osbourne and actor Malin Ackerman.
Retail price points at Odd Molly's store featured $200 for a light-blue denim skirt and $250 for trousers.
The surreal tale of Alice in Wonderland continues to inspire filmmakers as well as designers. On March 18, Local Collection, a boutique for independent designers at the Glendale Galleria shopping center in Glendale,Calif., held a party for Alice fashions designed by indie labels such as Blue Platypus and Ever Originals.
