Shop and Eat for Charity
Fashionable foodies, take note. Next Thursday, April 8, the Tory Burch store on Robertson Boulevard will host a night of shopping and cocktails to benefit Share Our Strength’s Taste of the Nation.
California Apparel News Contributing Editor Dena Smolek of DLuxeList.com will co-host the event and has put together some sweet gift bags filled with beauty goodies and gift certificates in a beach-worthy reusable shopping bag from Tory Burch for the first 50 people to buy tickets to the 2010 Taste of the Nation: Los Angeles event on June 6.
Taste of the Nation is a culinary event where a selection of local top chefs will personally offer all-you-can-eat bites. Proceeds of the event benefit Share Our Strength, an organization dedicated to ending childhood hunger. To add extra incentive, during the event on Thursday, $100 tickets will be offered at a discounted rate, and Tory Burch full-priced merchandise will be 10 percent off, with 10 percent of the proceeds to benefit Share Our Strength.
