New Face of Freya

Once upon a time, the only choice for full-figured busted girls were the most unsexy straight jacket-like white bras held up by utilitarian thick straps. Not anymore. Freya’s sharp and newly re-launched website highlights the youthful, fun and fashionable face of the long-standing lingerie brand that stocks cup sizes all the way up to K.

The new site is packed with educational tools for customers that answer the practical questions that come with lingerie, for example videos on how to fit a bra, a dictionary of different styles of bras, a place where you can “ask the bra doctor” and suggestions about which bra styles work best for different body types.

The fashionable character of the brand comes through in the social networking components of the site. A link to the Freya playlist on Spotify has some feel-good girl anthem songs (for dancing around in your bedroom in your Freya underwear perhaps?) including Cindy Lauper’s “Girls just Want to Have Fun; Bruno Mars’ “Just The Way You Are” and Katy Perry’s “Teenage Dream.”

Lots of first-hand stories from Freya’s bloggers, a quick overview at the brand's previous ad campaigns, a history of parent company Eveden (which also owns Fantasie, Fauve and Huit to name a few), and behind-the-scenes photos inside the company headquarters all add up to making the brand feel more personal. Here's a peek below, but check the site for the full monty.
