Mad Rabbit Kicking Tiger’s SUPR FELT

Shaun Nath started his accessories brand Mad Rabbit Kicking Tiger in Shanghai five years ago.

He opened 35 standalone M.R.K.T. boutiques in China, then moved his headquarters to Los Angeles this year. His welcome back home gift to the United States was M.R.K.T. bags constructed out of the brand’s new fabric; SUPR FELT.

SUPR FELT is similar to industrial felt, Nath said. The fabric’s fibers are melted down in an industrial process which makes the fabric durable, water and stain proof – and gives it a look that glimmers a bit.

The SUPR FELT is used in 60 percent of the Spring 15 bag line, Nath said. Price points will range from $60 to $120 and will be available in February.
