GUESS JEANS Opens Los Angeles Homecoming Flagship

GUESS JEANS opened its Los Angeles Homecoming Store at Melrose Avenue and San Vicente Boulevard Jan. 31, signaling a return to the brand’s California roots and the next phase of its global retail strategy.

Southern California Fashion Schools Include Accessories in the Mix
Several design schools in Southern California—including Fashion Careers International, Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising, Art Center College of Design and Woodbury University—are training their students in the techniques and the craftsmanship that go into making handbags and footwear and incorporating the students’ designs into graduate projects and runway shows.
CM2K
Back in 2012, Los Angeles Designer Cheryl Koo introduced The Other Duck, a line with art and some streetwear influences. For the Fall 2014 Los Angeles Fashion Week, she returned to debut the CM2K line at The Supper Club, a nightclub and high-end restaurant in Hollywood.
