A Source of Inspiration for 2021 at Virtual Texworld and Apparel Sourcing
With its first big show of 2021 occurring virtually Jan. 12–14, Messe Frankfurt Fashion and Apparel Show Director, Jennifer Bacon said, “We were extremely pleased with both the exhibitor and attendee participation. It was very similar to our premier edition this past July. We are excited to continue serving the textile-sourcing community through our virtual platform as we look forward to returning to face-to-face events.”

As the COVID-19 pandemic reached the shores of the United States in early 2020, apparel-industry trade-show producers canceled on-site shows and pushed back in-person events. One of the first event producers to think outside the trade-show floor was Kingpins, which introduced its April virtual edition of Kingpins24, a streaming event.

LA Men’s Market to Produce Digital Trade Show With Liberty Fairs
After more than a year of not producing in-person events, the LA Men’s Market, the 9-year-old independent, biannual trade show based in downtown Los Angeles, announced that it will be running a digital trade show with Liberty Fairs, a prominent biannual trade event, and its technology partner, Joor.
SwimShow Partners With NuOrder for 2021 Virtual Trade Show
With trade-show planning underway for 2021 across the apparel industry, Miami’s Swimwear Association of Florida announced that its SwimShow is working with the Los Angeles wholesale e-commerce platform NuOrder to launch a virtual edition of the swimwear event, which is typically produced in July.
